Summer 2025
I participated in a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program where I conducted research in functional analysis under Dr. Alonso Delfin Ares de Parga on a topic we dubbed Restricted Isometries. This experience allowed me to get a true feel for what it is like to work on new research in an area of math I was actually interested in. During the project, I collaborated heavily with several other undergraduate students, along with one graduate student. After the summer had concluded, we presented a poster at the 2026 JMM Conference in Washington DC.
